TCI Group · What we do

Twelve group services, four divisions, five moulding routes.

Whichever division you land in, the same five moulding routes are on the table. The group layer adds the services that only make sense across all four.

Common jobs

Six shapes of work we take regularly.

A one-off decorative mould

Hand-made silicone, cast once, in your hand within weeks. Goes through TCI Mouldings.

A repeat bakery tray

Food-safe silicone, sized to your depositor plate. Goes through TCI Culinary.

Precast formliner for a panel run

Silicone surface tooling that survives alkaline concrete. Goes through TCI Construction.

A rubber component you'll reorder every quarter

Compression or LSR injection, quoted tooling and unit cost as separate lines. Goes through TCI Products.

Restoration for a listed elevation

Hand-made silicone rebuilding a lost detail. Goes through TCI Construction.

A finished silicone product carrying your brand

OEM manufacturing under your label, packaged to your spec. Goes through TCI Products.

Five moulding routes

The tool changes. The rest of how we work stays the same.

Volume, tolerance, and material dictate which route fits. A modest hand-cast prototype tool or a full steel injection tool — the same paperwork discipline sits behind both.

01

Hand-made

Brushed or poured by hand. Cheapest tool, fastest to a working mould, best for one-offs and low volumes.

02

Cast

Two-part gravity pours. The workhorse route for tens to low hundreds of parts.

03

Vacuum cast

Degassed pours for parts that can't carry any trapped air. Tighter cosmetic tolerances.

04

Compression

Solid silicone pressed under heat in a steel tool. Consistent parts, thousands per tool.

05

Injection / LSR

Liquid silicone rubber injected at pressure. High-volume production, tightest repeatability.

Group services

Twelve services that only make sense across four divisions.

TCI Group doesn't replace the divisions — it routes buyers to the right one and adds the coordination on top.

One phone call, one engineer, however many divisions it touches.

TCI Group is four brands with one workshop behind them. If a job spans Mouldings and Products, or Culinary and…

One quote. Itemised by division. Nothing rolled up to hide the arithmetic.

When a job touches more than one TCI brand, we quote it once, as one document, with each division's line clearly…

An engineering conversation before you commit to a route.

You have a part in mind. You're not sure whether it wants silicone or polyurethane, cast or compression, prototype or…

We run four materials. We're not paid to push one over another.

Platinum-cure silicone, tin-cure silicone, polyurethane, and various rubbers pass through our workshop every week. That…

One quality system. Four divisions. Same paperwork, same standard.

Whichever door you came in through, the quality system behind your job is the same. Same procedures, same audit trail,…

UK-designed, UK-made, coordinated from one Warwickshire workshop.

Our design and development sits in Bidford-on-Avon. So does the majority of our moulding. Some higher-volume production…

Same engineer, prototype through to production.

You started with one hand-cast mould. The part is signed off. You're ready for a hundred a week. The engineer who built…

Design for manufacture, across five moulding routes.

A part designed for one process doesn't necessarily suit another. Our DFM review covers all five moulding routes we run…

Projects that need more than one material, coordinated as one job.

Some parts want silicone in one place and polyurethane in another. Or a rubber gasket on a silicone body. Or a hard…

For programmes that run over months, not weeks.

Some jobs are one tool and one delivery. Others are a programme: prototypes, first article, tooling, launch, ramp-up,…

From first prototype to production volume, in planned stages.

Hand-cast prototypes, bridge tooling, then production steel — with a clear trigger for each step. You spend on tooling…

Repeat parts arriving when your line needs them.

For parts you buy again and again, we plan production against your forecast, hold agreed buffer stock and deliver on…

Designed and developed in the UK. UK moulding capability, with some higher-volume production placed with trusted partners where that's the right commercial answer.
