TCI Group

A silicone moulding company
with four front doors.

TCI Group designs and develops silicone and polyurethane tooling in the UK, with UK moulding capability behind it. Five moulded routes. Four divisions. One phone number, and one engineering team that answers it.

Who we are

A group is only useful if it saves you working out who to ring.

Single contact point represented by phone and four different sample products
One contact point for different moulding jobs

You have a part in mind. It might be a candle, a chocolate bar, a piece of precast concrete, or a rubber seal that goes into somebody else's assembly. You should not have to work out which of our four brands is the right way in. Ring one number, describe what you're making, and we'll route you correctly the first time.

The group layer

What TCI Group adds on top of the divisions.

Most jobs sit neatly inside one division. The ones that don't — a kitchen tool that becomes a retail product, a precast yard that also needs rubber seals, a prototype that grows into volume — are where the group earns its place.

One engineer, one quote, one quality system and one plan across every division your work touches.

Five moulding routes

Five routes. Everything else is how the tool gets made.

Whichever division you land in, the same five moulding routes are on the table. Volume, tolerance, and material dictate which one fits.

01

Hand-made

Bench-built silicone, straight onto a pattern or an existing object. Where prototyping and short-run tooling start.

02

Cast

Two-part gravity pours. The workhorse — one cavity, decent surface, sensible cost.

03

Vacuum cast

Degassed pours for parts that can't carry a single trapped bubble. Tight tolerances, tens to a few hundred.

04

Compression

Solid silicone pressed and cured under heat in a steel tool. Thousands of parts per tool.

05

Injection / LSR

Liquid silicone rubber injected at volume. Repeat parts, unit cost dropping as volume rises.

How we work

Six commitments with every order, from a single mould upwards.

A response the same working day

Every enquiry gets a human reply the same day it lands. If we need longer to price it properly, we'll tell you why and when to expect the number.

Tooling and unit cost, itemised

Two lines on the quote. What the tool costs to build, and what each part costs once it's running. Nothing rolled up to look cheap on order one.

Written material spec, every job

The mould leaves with a document that says what it's made of, what it's rated to, and what it isn't for. Fine to hand straight to an auditor.

UK design, UK moulding capability

Design and development in the UK. Manufacturing capability in the UK, with some higher volume placed with partners where that's the right answer.

A single point of contact

One engineer runs your job. Not a queue, not a portal-only conversation. You have their name and their direct line.

No minimum for the first tool

A single hand-made mould is a real order. We won't push you into volume tooling before it's the right economics.

The group

Which division do I need?

Four specialist teams under one roof. Each one has its own site, its own paperwork, and its own domain — but they share a workshop, an engineering bench, and a single quality system.

Designed and developed in the UK. UK moulding capability, with some higher-volume production placed with trusted partners where that's the right commercial answer.

FAQs

Questions we hear before your first order.

Do I have to know which division I need before I get in touch?

No. Describe what you're making — we'll route you to the right team internally. Most first-contact enquiries come in through the Group phone number.

Is one team behind all four brands?

Yes. Same workshop, same engineering bench, same quality system. The brands are how we present specialist work to specialist audiences, not separate companies.

Where is the manufacturing done?

Bidford-on-Avon, Warwickshire. UK manufacturing capability, with some higher-volume production placed with trusted partners where that's the right commercial answer.

What's the minimum order?

There isn't one for tooling. A single hand-made mould is fine. For finished parts, minimums depend on the process — hand-cast has none, injection tooling only makes sense above a few thousand parts a year.

Get in touch

Not sure which division? Tell us what you're making.

Send us a sketch, a photograph, or a paragraph. We'll come back with the right division, the right route, and an honest sense of what it will take.

Real people, a real workshop

You deal with the people who make it.

No call centre and no middlemen. When you contact TCI Group, you speak to the team who design, build and check your mould.
